The richness and diversity of green and blue spaces in Hong Kong are, to a large extent, a combination of natural endowment and past efforts of our planning and development. These spaces take vivid forms, including green parks and pocket spaces, street trees and amenity areas, country parks and vegetated slopes, harbourfront and promenades, reservoirs and manmade channels, etc. Among them, public parks and green spaces play pivotal roles in building a liveable high density city, and are conducive in promoting healthy life-style. This Landscape Corner aims to showcase existing well-designed public parks and green spaces to promote public appreciation and knowledge on landscape design features of local green spaces. Public are encouraged to visit and enjoy these green assets in our city.
