The wood of Chittagong Chickrassy is yellowish brown to auburn (reddish brown), solid, resistant to decay, aromatic and shiny. It can be made into furniture and construction materials. This species can be applied as folk medicine. Its bark is an astringent, while its leaves can cure skin ulcers and is anthelmintic. |
